Handmade tools were once a way of life. The knowledge being passed down generation to generation. Today it is considered more of an art form than necessity. My step dad and a group of people in the Columbia River Gorge still gather to learn from one another and share their skills in flint knapping and tool making. Using various types of obsidian, antler and bone to create beautiful knives for display. Each knife comes with a display stand made from deer antler.
