I love to host classes to teach people how to wire wrap stones, make earrings and other jewelry from upcycled beads and old jewelry pieces. But I love it even more when we gather just to be creative, playful and learn from one another all sorts of crafting. When I was a girl, my mom and her friends always had a craft going. At least once a week, our dining room would be filled with women and children doing macrame, quilting, ceramics, embroidery, or whatever the craft craze was in that season. I can still hear the laughter and story that craft day created in our house. It makes me smile to keep this tradition going.
